My darling companion since my beloved went to heaven is my little minpin dog. I named her Thelma Lou and she even occasionally responds to hearing her name when Mayberry is on TV, which is often. Her playmate is my friend Laura's new puppy, a mini schnauzer, named Miss Ellie. We get together now and then for play dates for our two little girls! I will miss her desperately next week while I am hospitalized for my back surgery and I know she will be fraught with anxiety but we will both get thru it! I will look forward to reading all the Digests when I return home as they are one of the highlights of each and every day!
