For Mark, the actor was Larry Hovis, who after the first episode, received a
recurring role as Sgt. Andrew Carter. He was Gilly on TAGS in the episode
where Goober takes a car apart and puts it in the courthouse.
And if I'm not mistaken, the first episode of Hogans Heroes was directed by
Howard Morris, our own Ernest T. (RIP). He directed a total of fourteen Hogans
Heroes episodes, including the pilot, which was in black and white.
And don't forget Col. Crittenden, our favorite Malcolm Merrriweather, played
by Bernard Fox.
