We were watching an old Gunsmoke last night and I noticed that the undertaker's
last name was Crump. That's C-R-U-M-P, Crump! Do you reckon he was Helen's
great grandpa?

As of yesterday evening there was one pair of TAGS pj pants at the Chapman Hwy
WalMart in Knoxville, Tenn. The WM tag says it's an XXXL, but the label says
it's a small. $8.84.

These might well be available at Weaver's but this is the first time I'd
seen one. I was behind a Jeep during lunch today and they had a license
plate frame that said "I'd rather be watching The Andy Griffith Show."

So had I, but I had to go back to work.

If you are searching Wal-Mart online, you might >>try something like "lounge
pants" or a similar term. Before my visit to the store, I, too, tried to
search online under >>"pajamas" and didn't find them.

I went to my Wal-mart and they are called Men's Sleep Pant. Got me two pair
of them....boy are they soft and comfortable.

My family called me "obsessed"....oh well, have a great Mayberry Day.

A couple of digests ago, someone mentioned that they found the pajamas at
Walmart, but they weren't with the other PJs! Whoever that was, can you please
email me directly ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) or repost where to look at Walmart?
(Those supercenters are pretty big!!)

Thanks!

Kris

Did Otis appear just appear in the black and white shows only? I don't
remember him in any color shows but I don't watch them as faithfully as b & w
shows. If he is only in the b & w shows then why was he written out?

Last night we were watching the episode where Otis falls in the jail and tries
to sue the county. When his slicky lawyer goes into the barber shop to talk to
Andy and Floyd I saw a calendar on the wall. Guess what, it had 28 days on it
too. That must have been some February!

Mr. Henning's daughter, Linda, sometimes listed as Linda Kaye played on
Petticoat Junction and also The Beverly Hillbillies besides being in
several movies. Mary Grace in Georgia

I enjoy looking for little things like calendars on the walls too. Thats why
these DVD's are so awesome. I've got one for you. Mayberry County has been
mentioned in several episodes as being a "dry county" meaning no liquors,
spirits or moonshine. Well, check "Barney Gets His Man" and along about 2
minutes and 22 seconds into the epi just as the state police car starts to go
by...you will see a sign on a building that says, "Waverly Malt and Hops Corp".
Now why would a malt and hops company set up shop in a dry county?
Also, in the same scene pay attention to the buildings and street as the state
police car goes by. There are no cars on the street. But then about 8 seconds
later the same car goes by the same buildings (slightly different angle) and
there are two cars parked there. I don't think this a blooper but an attempt to
make the town and street scene look larger.
BTW, check out the state police car looks a lot like the Mayberry squad car
with a different logo on the door.

Guys, how could I possibly subject myself to the ridicule I would receive if I
somehow found myself seeking TAGS pajamas? What would my wife and kids think if
I paraded around the house in such an outfit? Well, at my house they would
probably think it was perfectly normal since they already question my fragile
sanity over my television viewing habits now! By the way, it seems our local
Dayton, Ohio area Wal-Mart stores don't carry the "lounge pants" that I seek.
Since I will be heading towards my birthplace of Cleveland in beautiful
northeastern Ohio in about ten days, I may have to make that stop in Cuyahoga
Falls for a check of their TAGS stock. Does that sound crazy or what? Take
care, everyone, and find a fun way to celebrate April Fool's Day!
