While watching " The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance", for about the 100th
time, I noticed a few TAGS alumni I never have noticed before.

-Denver Pyle- (Briscoe) as Amos Carruthers
-Robert F. Simon-( Mr. Crawford ,the druggist that hired Opie) as Handy
Strong (greeted the Shinbone delegates at the convention in Capitol City)
-Willis Bouchet- (Charlie O'malley) as Jason the train conductor (at the end
of the movie)

I need to pay more attention.
At least I didn't mention pajamas.

I saw Howard Morris playing George the TV repair man in the episode "Andy and
Helen have their day".
I almost didnt figure out it was him at first and had to rewind it just to make
sure.
Is this the only time that he appears on TAGS as someone besides Ernest T Bass?

On a different note, I have been watching TAGS on my local station here and
they have so far shown every episode from
the first all the way up to half way thru the 5th season. It has been really
neat seeing the show cronologically and seeing
how different characters emerge. One thing I have noticed so far is how many
time Mr Schump shows up. I can't believe
he was on the show so many times and yet no one knows who he was. What a
mystery.

(Gomer) It don't have to be a brother, it can be cousin like me.

In June, there is a youth leadership camp in Marshall, TX. I am working with
those students that have just graduated high school and our theme is based
around Mayberry.

I was looking for anyone in the area that may have a Mayberry squad car to show
off Monday, June 13. Please email me if you have any suggestions or questions.
 Thank you.
