Hi Mayberry neighbors. Just wanted to mention that I attended my
first Mayberry Festival in Cocoa, Fla and had a great time. The music
was terrific and the tribute artists were a joy to watch!

>>>I saw Howard Morris playing George the TV repair man in the episode "Andy
and Helen have their day".
... Is this the only time that he appears on TAGS as someone besides Ernest
T Bass?
>>>
That's the only time he appears ON SCREEN as someone other than Ernest T.
(unless you count Oliver Gossage), but his voice can be heard on the radio
"Barney's Bloodhound." He plays both the announcer and Leonard Blush, The
Masked Singer. Behind the scenes, he directed eight episodes, including the
two mentioned above.

Who were the 3 different actors who played Bobby/Freddy Fleet? I believe there
were 3 episodes with this rag tag dixie-land type band: 2 with James Best, and
1 episode where the "Band With a Beat" filled in for the Mayberry Band, so they
could play at the state capitol. I liked that episode the best out of the 3,
and thought that that Fleet was the best actor of the 3. They must have been a
Yankee band, as all 3 of the Fleet actors talked "funny".

In addition to the ones mentioned, one character looked a lot like Howard
Morris as one of Valance's sidekicks. And when Rance Stoddard shot Liberty
Valance, someone went to get the doctor and the voice from this character
telling
the doc "It's Liverty Valance and he's been hurt bad" sounds just like the same
voice given to Ernest T Bass. Can't prove it was him, but I have my
suspicions! Any help on this?

Hey everybody. I finally saw a pair of the sleep pants in Wal-Mart the
other day. They were the wrong size, so I couldn't get theme. I was
wondering if there are any different styles of pants out there? The
ones I saw only had Opie, Andy, and Aunt Bee. I can't believe they
didn't have Barney or Gomer or Goober or any of the rest of the gang.
So, are there any different sleep pants out there or are these the only
ones? Thanks for the info. Horatio (Kevin)
Aunt bee; Andy, why are vacuuming the floor at this hour?
Goomer; Oh he wasn't, I was trying to fix the switch. It was stuck in
the on position and when she's in that position she's gona to run on ya.

Did you know that Robert Lincoln declined to go with his parents to Ford's
Theatre that fateful night. (Too tired. Been in the war and all.) BUT he was
present when McKinley was killed and when Garfield was fatally injured.
