Hello all just wanted to share a Mayberry Moment with all of you.
Last night my husband and I were watching the movie "50 First Dates",
during the movie Adam Sandler pretends that he doesn't know how to read and
he's being taught to read. At one point, he says " So it's i before e
except after c. My husband replies right away "he forgot the rule e before
n in chicken!"

I hate to mention this since some of you haven't found them but yes I have
found the Mayberry sleeping pants.... bought a pair for my husband, my dad
and pair for myself. Anyway, we ordered pizza last night and my husband
answered the door in his Mayberry pants and his bright orange Mayberry Days
2004 t-shirt. It was quite an outfit!!! I laughed after the pizza delivery
guy left telling my husband that the pizza guy would probably go back to
the pizza shop saying " you should have seen the outfit this guy had
on...." He just laughed.
Hey, that might just be the outfit to wear to Mayberry Days this year!!!

Have a Mayberry kind of day,
Jennifer

I was watching Perry Mason today and in the episode Paul Drake found out the
victim of the crime had a weekly
poker game every tuesday night at the Mayberry Hotel. Wonder if Barn and Andy
knew about that? Of course it could have
been during Sheriff Poindexters administration. Also John Masters was the court
clerk in the episode. Wonder if the hotel clerk job he had at the Mayberry
hotel was just a night job? lol

One other thing I noticed while watching several different episodes of TAGS was
that Barney mentioned his low Sugar Blood content. I just noticed he was
saying it that way instead of low blood sugar. I guess it was a good thing Barn
never went to study to be a doctor. lol

WOW! Who would've ever expected to see a rare sign picturing our hero
"Archie" Griffith. I must bid on this immediately. Huh? It's not Archie?
It's Andy? Oh, well, maybe I'll not bid on it right this minute. But I do
have to go see someone about a rare Indian Head Nickel with the buffalo
pointing the wrong way. :) Just kidding. I guess I'm just a little too
sarcastic today. ;) Have a Mayberry day, y'all - Lisa

Hi, yall. I have four more Mayberry courthouses finished, thanks to the
arrival of spring down here and moderate temperatures in my garage workshop. If

anybody's interested, email me for a photo and details. I'll be working on
Wally's Filling Station next. I wanted to do the Grocery Store/Floyd's Barber
Shop building second, but it's a big moulage finding good photos of that
building to get details.

Hello Fellow Mayberrians! I was wondering if anyone had any more info on the
Don Knotts festival in Morgantown Aug 12-14. My husband and I want to go to
it. I think it would be a lot of fun. Are there any more details about who
will attend other than Don Knotts and what will be the activities for the
weekend.

Thanks a million to everyone for all of the Mayberry moments, thoughts and
ideas!! I just love reading the digest every day.
