Mark, you're right about the exterior shots made on the lot -- there were
really very few different houses used. However, I figured that these scenes in
"Cyrano Andy" were shot using studio sets. That's why I was surprised that
they used the sets of the interior and exterior of Andy's house for Thelma
Lou's house. Interior sets would be built and struck for various episodes,
whereas exterior sets would be limited to the houses already constructed on the
lot. So I thought it odd that they wouldn't just build another set for Thelma
Lou's house, especially since she became a regular character and they had to
eventually build a separate set for her house anyway.
