Flipping thru channels last nite I spotted Don Knotts on the Disney Channel.
I have never watched that channel before. It seemed to be a kids show and
Don was playing the Governor. It looked to be rather recent. Anybody know
what
show this is? I got in right at the end.
Thanks for any info.

The astringent witch hazel has been mentioned a couple of times besides
Jennifer Morrison's fondness for it. I remember Aunt Bee saying she'd rub some
on Opie's back after one of his cousins kicked him when they were all sleeping
in one bed. I guess he should have gone for the ironing board. Also Mr.
Crawford knocked a bottle off the shelf to demonstrate to Opie how accidents
can happen to anybody.
Anyone remember any other mentions?

My Grandmother's name is Hazel Bell, and she said the kids used to make fun of
her by calling her "Witch Hazel." I guess kids were mean even back then.
Incidentally, I just got back from the Barber shop and those little hairs are
killing me.

Well, witch hazel sounds like like it has a lot of uses, but I'd much rather
have a willow chip cause I wanna know what my dogs are dreaming about! Anyone
know where I can get one?

But Ken, when you are out on that porch, how come you aren't counting
cars? Nat Pike told me about this site, but he didn't say if Weavers
has the sleep shorts?

When we were stationed at Fort Lee, Va. in 1964 our youngest daughter
who was only 18 months old developed shingles starting with a blister on
the back of her shoulder. The doctor at the base hospital had to look
it up in the medical books for they had never heard of anyone at that
age having shingles. Anyway my aunt Marie had had shingles on her leg
and told us to buy triple distilled witch hazel for it relieved the
itching and the hurting later. I don't think you can find triple
distilled witch hazel any longer, I haven't been able to find it. Mary
