While I am deeply saddened by the loss of Howard Morris, think of the precious
company he will be keeping for all eternity. Denver Pyle, Jack Dodson, Francis
Bavier and many, many others.

Most importantly (to me), my Mom (who was a schoolteacher) is there too. A
triple major, I am certain she will offer him 'learning' on anything he
desires. At 89, she too was a fan, and would pull her chair up close to the TV
to watch with me, and understand as best she could. It truly warms my heart.

God bless our beloved Ernest T. Those who bring joy, and laughter, and
happiness into this world, must take them with them when they leave. My
thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I am warden of the Meehawken State Prison Chapter of TAGSRWC. We are all
saddened to hear of the passing of Ernest T. Bass, one of the all-time great
jailbreakers. I suppose when he met St. Peter at the pearly gates he said "It's

me, it's me, its ErnestT."

Seriously, I feel truly lucky to have an autographed picture of Howard
Morris. Unfortunatley I did not get some cast members before they passed away.
As
a fitting tribute, I believe I will watch Mountian Wedding tonight in his
honor. It's sad to see the cast members departing this earth, but they can and
will remain alive in our hearts forever. God bless the family!!!
