I wore my new "Mayberry Choppers" t shirt (from Weavers) to
our church barbecue last week. It was a big hit. At our next
one I'm planning to wear my "Wally's fillin station" one.
I bet everyone will just go to hollerin when they see that!

I like to get in early, before Floyd has his lunch, just in case he has
onions.
My Standard order: clipper cut, Flat top, extra wax, splash of witch
hazel.

Well...my TAGS Squad Car didn't sell at the recent auction so since we're
planning on moving to a smaller house and I don't have the space for it, I'm
offering it again here on the 'board at a new and lowest price ever!!!
I have about $4800 invested in this and will let it go for (this hurts!!!!) for
$3800 or best offer!!!!!!
This is a '61....engine gone through, new brakes...new tires and the BEST
Mayberry side sheilds you'll ever see!!! (I'm a sign painter and it took 6
hours to do each one on magnetic material, so they can be removed when not "in
srevice"!!). All origional and was stored for many years before I got it.
Any interest please e-me at my addy and not here on the board of course.

Denise: Sounds like you had a great time in Mayberry. If you want to go for
the REALLY BIG fun you should visit Mt. Airy over Mayberry Days. (Last weekend
in Sept.) You couldn't ask for any more fun for a Mayberry Fan than this.
The entertainment, shows, parade, Mayberry Cast Members, and all the Mayberry
fans and tribute stars put on a fabulous show. It's a must go for any Mayberry
fan. (At least once, although I'm sure you'll get hooked like the rest of
us.) Hope you get the chance to go.
Also while visiting an estate sale with my mom the other day, she picked up a
booklet, A Golden Collection of the Best Old Songs. She showed me several of
the songs that were sung on the Andy Griffith Show so of course I had to get
it. Songs like The Vacant Chair and Church in the Wildwood, but what really
cinched it was "Juanita" Nita Juanita. I didn't even realize that was a real
song. Anyway we had lots of fun. I have sung the songs for my family and made
them guess the episode, and believe it or not they got them right. Great
Mayberry Moment. If it only had my favourite old 14 A. Diane

I was watching How the West Was Won the other day and saw O'Malley in it.
He was in the Civil War segment and played a battlefield surgeon. He was
getting ready to operate and while holding down the patient he ordered up,
"Saw, brandy, chloroform!"
Pretty grusome.
One of the Mayberry minutemen was in the "down home in Arizona" scene.
Can't think of his name but he's the squirt who did his homework but Howie
tells him to stick together with the guys who didn't do their homework.

A couple days ago, one of our fellow clubmates from Arkansas asked about
obtaining a copy of AIMP. I myself have been searching for the same thing for
several years now...no such luck. Any of you fellow Andy flick fans out there
know of any source (preferably dvd format) where we can obtain a copy?
