Will someone please explain what LOL and all the other abbreviations mean.
Some of us are not as hip as others, and maybe I'm the only one to not
understand, but I doubt it.

A recent article in TV Guide ranking the all-time shows featuring the military
mentioned that it was not necessarily the producers or directors who shied away
from mentioning Vietnam, but rather it was actually done at the behest of
soldiers, themselves who didn't want the show to go the route of others and
turn the show into a "political statement."

yea he said he's gonna retire. he's in his upper 70's
Don't know where the Mayberry sheriff's car went after it was on Sheriff
Hege's site
It was a '63 galaxie. Looked in cherried out condition too. everything in it
redone.
I see you guys had the most famous prisoner down there tho, Glen Campbell
who did a 10 day stretch I think for drunk driving.
One thing I like that Sheriff Joe has done, is what he's done for the
animals. He turned the Central Jail into an airconditioned animal shelter
for abused animals such as cats and dogs etc. the animal abusers go to the
tent jails.
I do 'spect the new sheriff, whoever it is, will keep the tents tho, from
what I heard.
those tents have a famous sign "Vacancy"

From time to time, I see requests for TAGS ringtones and I thought
instead of just using the theme music from the show, why not some
memorable quotes for your cell to play when you have a call. For
instance, you might want your phone to ring with Andy saying, "Will you
get that Barney, you're closer". Just get your favorite quote off the
show, or even good old 14a and convert it to a wav, wma or mp3 file.
With Ring Tone Maker software (about 20 bucks), you then convert it to a
ring tone for your phone. The site for the software is www.magix.com.
Although I have not personally used the software to do this, I just
thought you might want to know about it.
