Re: I'm looking for some of your favorite Aunt Bee Remarks.

Speaking of Aunt Bee yelling "Barney!!!" when she realized he had led
them all on a wild goose chase (yet again), think of the times when Aunt
Bee was really mad, really ticked. Andy was on the receiving end a time
or two, most memorably when he was evicting Mr. Frisby. Of course,
Barney caught a lot of that too when Aunt Bee and all the women were
massed at the door of the courthouse. Barney said, "We've got ourselves
a situation." Andy said, "How did they go again?" There were times Aunt
Bee could be kind of intimidating. Who was the true Aunt Bee?

Of course, Andy could give it back to her, at least while he was walking
away muttering something, maybe at a safe distance. "I don't care what
you tell her." "He don't care what I tell ya."

"I wonder what causes that?"

Last night at church, our Minister of Music did a bible study based on The
Pickle Story. Showed some of the show (I wanted to see the whole thing!)
and did a good job on the lesson. Then, after the benediction, we had a
pickle eating contest. We even had our own Aunt Bee!

I believe the commercials were right before the credits, but I can't
really remember. I do agree it is wonderful seeing them again as it was
a part of the show, and just to hear Andy say how something is
"Gooooooooooooooood" makes me hungry!

There is a See's candy store where I live. Aunt Bee and Mary See did have
the same look about them. Kindly, gentle and homespun. However, Mary See
never made kerosene tasting candy!
