Judd might be old, but he can still disturb the peace with the best of them!

Hey to all. My husband bought me the 3rd season dvds for our anniversary.
Needless to say I am tickled pink, and so is he, he loves the show as much as I
do, and our kids do to. There ages are 3 and 10. We watched some of it last
night and it is just as good quality as seasons 1 and 2 where. Man in a
Hurry was excellent, and " I wonder what causes that???" Hope to see you all
at
Mayberry Days this year. Oh before I forget, wondered if paramount had ever
thought of putting the bloopers of tags if any on the dvds for special
features, I'm sure they would be hilarious!!! Debbie and family

Here's a thought. What are your regrets about TAGS? I mean, are there
things that you wish had happened but didn't, or things didn't turn out
the way you hoped, or have you ever said to yourself, "If only..."
For example, in "Barney and the Choir", Thelma Lou professes her undying
love for Barney (but he can't sing...not a lick!) and says she wants him
to be the father of her children (even though he can't sing...not a
lick!). But alas, it didn't turn out that way. One of the most poignant
episodes is when Thelma Lou returns as the husband of another man. Did
we know her last name even then? What was the last name of the man she
married?
Or as far as things not turning out as planned, far less poignant is
Andy and Sharon DeSpain realizing why they never got together way back
when. But, as Barney said, it was one of the great natural romances of
all time.

Booby? He's calling me (Bobby) names again!!! There ought to be another
number law against that!!!
Say, Ed, this time I might have to request a continuance on the grounds you
didn't know what you were saying!!!
Lydia, yes, I was buying a suit in Mt. Pilot during the punch in the nose
episode! Precisely! But I would have urged Floyd and Foley to "settle out of
court...."

I was once in a northern cafe and when told that Iced Tea was out of season I
asked for a carafe of hot water, a tea bag, a glass of ice cubes and I made my
own. She was not pleased but I'm sure even more displeased when she saw her
meager tip for rudeness. What goes around comes around as they say!

I am very disappointed to hear that some (or is it all?) of the
episodes contained on the Season 3 DVD set have been edited down. I
have waited a long time to get a complete, unedited set of TAGS on DVD,
and to find out that my favorite season of all is not all it could be
is a crying shame.
Does anyone have any idea as to why this is so? Were some complete
shows lost or unavailable to those producing the DVDs? If there's a
reasonable explanation, I'd like to hear it. I haven't bought the set
yet, but for those of you who have, what have you noticed so far that's
been left on the cutting room floor?
Thanks.
