Has anyone seen the new recut of the Las Vegas "what happens in Vegas.." ad
with the two women who pass themselves off under phony names? The joke is the
woman and her friend introduce themselves with differing first names..the
patternis that they're names like "Jan," "Marcia," "Samantha," etc., names from
TV shows. At the of the original version she and her friend meet two guys who
call themselves "Cliff and my buddy Norm."

Well, now there's a recut where the two women introduce themselves as "Ginger"
and "Mary Ann." They guys then ask the girls where they're from. Anyone want
to take a wild guess what they say?

"We're...from Mayberry. Yeah, Mayberry."

Don's movies are fabulous.

Here's his page on IMDB --->  http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0461455/

Apple Dumpling Gang

Incredible Mr Limpet

Ghost and Mr Chicken

Reluctant Astronaut

No Time For Sargeants

Mr Limpet is marvelous, and easily watched several times...great writing.

Someone asked for the title of the movie in which Andy was executed at the end.
I believe you are referring to "Murder in Coweta County" which is based on a
true story from Coweta County, GA. Coweta County is also the birthplace of
country singer Alan Jackson and deceased columnist/author/humorist Lewis
Grizzard.

The movie also starred Johnny and June Carter Cash. Johnny Cash was the lawman
that finally proved Andy commited the murder.

I liked the fat little mayor...after all, i'd never kill a carp any more than i
would kill a Pike...but mayor Stoner...he was just after votes.. and overly
neat. After all, the Governor didn't even remember his name. Post Stoner
mayor candidates should have been Howard Sprague, Sam Jones or Otis Campbell

  Hi Mayberrian friends,

I beginning a new job starting tomorrow ( saturday)
at Wal mart. I know many of you do not like Wal mart but Ben Weaver wasn't
hiring.

I will finish my crossing duties this afternoon. Our city is growning
SO much.

I was wondering if ya all noticed this or not....When Aunt Bea is
caring
for Evie Joy... Feeding a baby at 8-12-4 & 8 ..... WOW I guess the baby can
just starve until morning
huh?

Throwing you all a rock of good fortune,

    Mayberry's midwest mocha momma,
      Erin
