Let's just add a little egg white to the moulage and move on...

How about kissing as a topic? Can you recall memorable Mayberry kisses?

I like the one that Andy planted on Helen as she was arguing with him - when
was that?

Barney's first car is one of our all time favorites. When we get to the
scene where the car has died for the LAST time and Andy and Barney are
waiting for the wrecker to come and get the car, my husband turns to me
and asks me the SAME question everytime WHEN we both watch that part: WHY
would two grown men both sit in the back seat of that car, ESPECIALLY when
they are on the look out for that wrecker? IT just does not make much
sense. Someone might say that they both wanted to take a nap; huh?
Wouldn't they have hunkered down in their places in the FRONT seat, so
that when they woke up they could see better if/when the wrecker arrives?
We never have figured out that question. Any answers from any of y'all?

Hello?I guess I must?ve skimmed over the digest where someone asked about
the house that looks like Andy?s that?s being made into an inn. (I know,
little old ladies ought never to skim!) Several friends alerted me to the
question that was posed in the recent digest (thanks, y?all!) and here?s the
answer:

We are now licensed! We can officially take guests but we are kinda holding
off until this coming Spring to make it official so that when we are truly
open for business we will have all the little kinks ironed out. We are
having family and friends help us out by being our ?guinea pigs? ? staying
over and letting us practice on them with our hosting and feeding skills.
So far everyone seems to be pretty pleased, so we?re encouraged. We have
three rooms that will be available to guests: Opie?s, Andy?s, and Bee?s.
Each room has its own private bathroom, and there is a television room /
lounge available for all guests to use, complete with a microwave, dorm
fridge, games and videos. The living room, kitchen, Opie?s room and the
front porch are furnished as closely as possible to the way they were on the
show. Our garage is detached, same as on the show, and if you drive around
to the back side of the garage, we have created a replica of Wally?s
station, and eventually it will be completely furnished like the station
was. (?Eventually? is the key word.) If you are interested in seeing our
online photos (the web site is still a work in progress so we have photos on
a picture-sharing web site for now), email me at HYPERLINK
"mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]"[EMAIL PROTECTED] and I?ll send you a
link! THANKS FOR ASKING!!!

"It is fun to see TAGS' folks branching out into other acting work, showing
their talents."

I'm watching Muppet and Carol Burnett DVDS. Last night Barnie ... oops ... Don
Knotts was on Muppets and Ken Berry on Carol Burnett. It appears Andy never
did The Muppets. Or, at least in my collection, The Carol Burnett Show.
Wonder why?

Actually, switching between those two shows is getting confusing. The show
will reach it's end, Carol Burnett will pull her ear and I'll wonder, "Where's
Kermit?"

Dapper Dan mentioned all of Barney's middle names, BUT don't forget that Don
Knotts' real name is JESSE DONALD KNOTTS. "Don" is his real middle name.
Andy Griffith said so in the forward to Don's autobiography.

Just had a TAGS sighting of Elinor Donahue. I saw our pharmacy gal on a new
Cold Case tonight. I seem to recollect she mentioned at Mayberry Days that
she was going to be on that show. Nice to see you Miss Ellie . Joyce

I was wondering if anyone knew of any buildings seen on TAGS that were also
seen in "Gone With The Wind". I know the two were both filmed at Forty Acres
in Culver City, and I was doing a little research. Thanks

Isn't Surry Art's Council listed on the main Mayberry site? I'm sure it
is....Yes, I do believe it is. And you can link to Andy's B&B from their
site.....Allen Newsome goes to WAY to much trouble to set up this wonderful
web site for our use....it's a down right pity more people don't take
advantage of his compelsion.
