I was wondering if anyone noticed in episode 245, Emmett's Anniversary, how
Flora keeps looking up at the top of Emmett's head when they are talking in the
fur coat store. I don?t know why, but that cracks me up every time I see
that!!!
My husband said he knows someone that does that to him when he?s talking to
them and it really freaks him out. Hmmmmm, think maybe it was Flora he was
talking to, dear sweet Flora, and I?m getting a fur coat???

QB Opie Taylor hit WR Johnny Paul Jason with a 43 yd. TD pass in the closing
seconds to rally the Mayberry Bears past Mt. Pilot 27-24. Look for it on ESPN
Classic soon.

Hey Bentley...One of the players suffered a knee injury...Maybe you can sue

I was watching the "episode today where Charlene was divorcing Dud (our sweet
Bob Denver) and it got me to thinking about the fact that Andy just might have
been a little vain about his hair? Now don't anybody go getting upset at me.
because I love our Andy as much as the rest of you. In fact, I would have to
say seeing Andy last year at Mayberry Days has been one of the highlights of my
life. The reason I say that Andy might have been a little vain about his hair
is because when he was walking to the preachers house to marry Charlene, he
stopped and wanted to head back to the courthouse because he had forgotten his
comb?? I reckon he wanted to look his best when he married Charlene?

I feel sure that like me, Sheridan and all the other folks from this "neck of
the woods" feels pretty "sporty" when they watch this episode because it
mentions "buckeyes". Sorry...... just putting in a plug for all the TAGS
lovers in Ohio!!

........."pain of heel, ache of toe, vanish now from my sweet beau".........

........."It might not work, I don't have a buckeye in my pocket"..............

I had my first session of my second round of Mayberry Bible Study at our
church last night. We had twenty people there and had a great time. I used
episode "Bringing Up Opie" as the lesson and incorporated many of the
Proverb verses. My wife, AKA Aunt Bee, provided two delicious desserts from
our Aunt Bee Dessert Cookbook. That too was a big hit. Next week I will be
using "Man in a Hurry".

He's the voice of the turkey in CHICKEN LITTLE. Noticed it in the credits.
Slept through a good hunk of the movie. Vaguely remember a turkey.

The talk about our dear Jean Carson and the talk about young people not knowing
about TAGS, reminded me of our daughter, who was raised on TAGS. She, her
brother and me had been watching TAGS one afternoon. Her dad came home from
work and she raced to greet him yelling, "Hello Doll!!" She and her brother,
who are grown now, still watch TAGS and I hope have learned a lot of life's
lessons from it.
