I just noticed on the episode "sermon for today" that the laugh track is
present on the first half
of the show, and missing on the second half of the show. What's the deal
with that?

>>>Hey to all my Mayberry friends,

Merry Christmas!!! Here is the 2005 online Christmas card for you from the
Newsome's.<<<

Great "card," Allan! You combined Mayberry with one of my favorite movies!
(No matter how many times I view "It's a Wonderful Life," it always makes me
cry. I suspect it affects Charlene Darling the same way.) Very well done. We
wish you and your family a very merry Christmas, too.

Merry Christmas, All!

Finally! I have something to contribute! When watching an episode,
last night, I spotted a "one-timer". A VERY YOUNG Bill Bixby was in the
episode. It was great! I actually don't even remember that episode,
and it was so much fun!

Wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas! It's been a great year for me
and my family, and we every one of you a FABULOUS year to come!

Allen, your Christmas Card was wonderful - the "angels" made me cry.

Merry Christmas to everyone! My sister gave me a black and white tweed like
sweater for an early Christmas gift. There were about 15 of us that went out to
eat at a nice restaurant the night I got it. My youngest son (17) said so
everyone heard, "Well Mom I see you pulled out the old salt and pepper". I knew
I had raised that boy right!
Again a Very Merry Christmas! aunt bee 42

>>>CAPT, I just had to reply about the all time record. I
Have 48 (mostly 6 hour) tapes catalogued, and another 10 or 12 that I
Just haven't gotten around to yet. Every episode (a couple of times
Each, just in case something happens.) :)>>>

That was about the size of mine before I started thinning out tapes as I
begin getting the DVDs. Just to see if some of you are as obtuse as I
am..do you have them cataloged as with or without epilog?? And/or do
you have a note, if they were shown as part of a Marathon?? (which
usually included additional commentary)

Also, did you end of with about 10 copies of some episodes...and none of
a precious few???
And did you have a hard time trying to catch your least favorite
episodes on tape?

Just some taper/cataloger chat
