I hope that each and every one of you had a wonderful Christmas with your
family and friends and enjoyed lots of fun and good food as you celebrated the
holiday. I want all of you to know how precious you are to me. This little
corner of my world brings me many, many smiles, much laughter and some tears
from time to time (when we lose some of the precious folks from TAGS). I just
want each and every one of you to know that I count you all as some of the
greatest treasures I have been blessed with in my life. I hope each of you
have a warm, safe and blessed New Year!

Two actresses who appeared on The Andy Griffith Show have passed away.
Beverly Tyler, who appeared as Gladys "Melissa" Stevens in the Oct. 30,
1961 episode, "Barney on the Rebound," passed away Nov. 23 in Reno, Nev.,
from a pulmonary embolism.
Argentina Brunetti, whose career spanned more than 50 years, including
her first major role as Mrs. Martini in "It's A Wonderful Life" and on TAGS
in the non-speaking role of Queen Lafarona in "The Gypsies" episode with
Vito Scotti and Jamie Farr, died peacefully in her sleep in Rome on Dec. 20
at age 98. She also appeared in an episode of Gomer Pyle.
I had the privilege of meeting Ms. Brunetti at her apartment several
years ago when she still lived in North Hollywood, Calif., before she moved
to Rome to live with her son. Diminutive in stature, she lit up the room
speaking about her career and that of her actess mother, Mimi Aguglia. It
was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to meet her. Both Beverly Tyler
and Argentina Brunetti will be missed by their TAGS family.

Hey Folks,

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! & Happy Holidays

I just wanted to let you know I have added some new items to the Mayberry
Emporium web site (_www.mayberryemporium.net_ (http://www.mayberryemporium.net)
)

I have added around 40 new signed photos and about 75 cut signatures and
signed cards. There are some pretty rare ones up there.

The items around my office on the "About Me" page are for sale as well. I
have so much stuff I need to weed some of it out.

As always, please do your Mayberry shopping at Weaver's Department Store
(_www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/weavers/_ (http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/weavers/)
)
If it's Mayberry related you can find it at Weaver's. By supporting Weaver's
you make a lot of great things possible for the fans of the show.

Then if you are still looking for something stop by the Mayberry Emporium an
say "YO!!"

Thanks,

Gary
