Be sure to vote for Helen Crump in TV Land's Viewer Choice Awards.
#10 -Teacher of the Year
Helen Crump is spelled Helen Krump... but at least our favorite teacher is
on there.

Ken, I think you should have worded it "various categories within the
TAGS black & white years", as you have virtually left out all reference
(except Mr. Schwamp) to the last three seasons.
For instance, I would have voted for Irene Fairchild as the prettiest girl.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas.
I'm looking forward to the New Year.
I received a dvd for Christmas called "Follow Me, Boys!", 1966,
starring Fred MacMurray.
The movie is about Lemuel Siddons and the Boy Scouts of America in a
small town called Hickory.
The movie also had some TAGS people showing up during the movie.
TAGS members spotted, Charles Ruggles (John Canfield), Parley Baer
(Mayor Roy Stoner),
Willis Bouchey ( Mr. Brady, Charlie O'Malley, Mr. Carter, Fletcher
Roberts),
David Bailey (Tray Bowden), Ronnie Dapo (Arnold Winkler) and Dennis Rush
(Howie Pruitt, Howie Williams).
All the boys from TAGS are in the Army game sequence, in the bunker.
The movie was wonderful and I love spotting TAGS folks along the way.
Margaret
Andy: Gomer, take that gun outta your mouth.

The Prairie Home Companion e-newsletter had the following "pretty good
joke" this week:
Knock knock
Who's there?
Amos
Amos who?
A mosquito bit me.
Knock knock
Who's there?
Andy
Andy who?
And he bit me again.
Knock knock
Who's there?
Opie
Opie who?
Opie quits biting me and starts biting someone else.
Happy New Year to you all!

Some time ago, someone wrote in and said that they were dissappointed with
the quality of Mountain Wedding in season 3 of TAGS on DVD. (I THINK they
wrote about mountain wedding);
WE watched it twice over Christmas and it was crystal clear. There
appeared to be an epilogue, (not being back at the jail making music),
but the one with Ernest t. Bass asking Barney to dance.
Was I dreamin' or did people write about the mountain wedding episode
being poorer quality on DVD season 3?
