Headed home for lunch today, I was vaguely aware that the song on the radio
sounded sorta familiar. The gears started grinding and the image finally
popped into my head of Rafe singing. It was "Those Endearing Young Charms"
from Rafe Hollister Sings.
Of course, that's the same episode where we get to hear Barn sing
"Acapella." To bad he couldn't remember the rest of the words.

I got a great Mayberry Christmas present this year. A welcome mat that says
'It Ain't Mayberry, But It Is Home". I loved it.
Harry (Boss)
P.S. Gotta make sure I get home by 5:30 today. Our local TAGS station is
airing Briscoe declaring for Aunt Bea. "She ain't got a spoon out there
does she?" One of my favorites. My wife loves when I sing "Low and Lonely"
to her.

Strange that the thief/thieves left only one set of imprints, even though they
obviously walked from the barn all the way out through the gate. Maybe this way
Barney didn't have to stir up so much mulage. But then, things are simple in
Mayberry and this reinforced that theme. DeLayne in Ettrick, WI

Let's hope next year is better than than this one, and that all TAGS fan keep
their New Year's resolutions.
I don't post very often, as I don't have very much to say. I need to ask two

1- I live in Wilmington, NC and would like for someone in the local chapter
to contact me.
2- I collect business cards. I would very much appreciate having some TAGS or
Mayberry related business cards. I'm not asking to buy or sell them, just a
friendly trade if possible.

In case you are interested in how the 3 unique
Mayberry names did on the latest Survivor, Judd
finished 6th, Lydia finished 4th, and Rafe finished
3rd out of 18 contestants.
"I wonder what causes that?"
