I have incorporated my Hawthorne Mayberry Houses into my Christmas Village this
year. We used the map of Mayberry and actually made it to scale with the
roads. It looks like it will be pretty close to a minature Mayberry.
Thought anybody who had the houses might want to consider doing this.

I had always noticed even in the Black and White episodes that Andy and
Barney's shirts were never
the same color. I figured that maybe they got their shirts from different
companies (personal preference or something)
and thats why they were different.

The sisters on TAGS who made "elixir for celebrations", not moonshine for plain
guzzlin', were Jennifer and Clarabelle Morrison.

Hello,
As I have already told you, we are having a big Mayberry evening for our
pastor. As a gag gift, I would love to give him his very own Mosaic Cow to
hang over the fireplace. Does anyone have any idea where I can get such a
thing?
I also have a one other questions. My husband and I are counting down days
until Mayberry Days. We weren't able to get tickets to Colonel Tim's but we
did to the Mayberry Revue. Can anyone tell me about the Mayberry Revue?
Thanks to everyone for all of their help and suggestions.

Coinciding with the Mayberry Days weekend, Don and Carol Thomas have
graciously offered to host a signing of my book, The Way Back to Mayberry,
at the Thomas House Bed and Breakfast near downtown Mount Airy. The signing
is scheduled for 2 to 4 in the afternoon on Saturday, September 25th, and
(weather permitting) will be held on the spacious front porch (rocking
chairs provided!). I wanted to extend a special invite to WBMUTBB members
who may happen to be in Mt Airy for the Mayberry Days festival. Please
contact me with any questions and hope to see you in Mt Airy!
Best Regards,
Joey Fann

>>>I believe Barney just puts on the old whiplash cord Deputy uniform once in
color..in "the Legend of Barney Fife" when he returns and meets Warren, and
puts in on for a photo op. (later helps catch escaped crook with old Indian
trick, wink wink) Doesn't it look like the slacks and shirt are a different
shade/color?<<<
Joe, I noticed the same thing, so you're not color blind. I wondered about it,
too!

Re woven rugs
Are you celebrating or just guzzlin? Woven rug? Multiple
colors? Sounds like somebody's got a snootful and maybe
even walking around with the "blind Staggers"
Well uh, actually I er uh, was celebrating that week-end ...
Took my two grand boy's to tombstone, Az and we celebrated our birthdays. Mine
Sept 5, Steve the 6th, and Mikes the 8th. ...and come to think of it the boy's
got a little
carried away ..a bit wild. Hum, you got me wonderin ...
"Otis!" Did you spike the drinking water again?
