Donna,

I was also at the Friday Night show and I took some pictures. This weekend
I'll go thru them and see if any are good enough to send to you. I also
enjoyed the show very much.

I heard WBMUTBB member Dennis Beal get off to a good start in the Mayberry
Trivia Tournament on the John Boy & Billy syndicated radio show this morning
(Friday's at 9:25 EST). Four more wins and he's in the winner's bracket.

Way to go Dennis and good luck in the coming weeks - the winning competition
sounds pretty sharp!

Allan - I hope you were able to get the MD trivia questions to put on WBMUTBB
again this year. I'm already getting requests!

Hey everybody. Just thought I would report on Mayberry Days this year.
As everyone else said, this was the best yet with our own Andy being
there. Boy that hill was crowded, just like when Barney had the whole
town locked up in the 2 cells one time. It was GREAT seeing Andy every
now and then when someone would move there head, I could peak through
and see him and his voice was just as strong as ever. It was great that
he also told some stories and spent some time talking instead of just
saying thanks and leaving. This was our 5th year going and I don't plan
on missing another one. I cannot tell how PROUD I was of our son (Will)
who tied for 1st place in the kids trivia. I try not to brag on him,
but it's hard. I think next year that I will try the adult trivia and
see what happens. The parade was great and I think I heard someone say
that there were 13 squad cars in it this year. It grows every year. I
take a lot of weekend camping trips every year and out of all the places
I visit, Mayberry Days is my favorite every year. Thanks a lot Allan
for all your hard work and time you put in this digest and at Mayberry
Days to make all this possible. Well, got to go now. Horatio (Kevin)
