I'm glad the dinner went well,Teresa. I hope nobody
hollered "meat"! or "taters"! at the table.

This week's TV Guide has an ad for the TAGS DVDs. Features a picture of
Aunt Bee.

That sounded great, glad you had a great evening. Excellent job planning
a great celebration.

Too bad you couldn't have had Opie's band, "The Sound Committee" on
hand. Or maybe even those "Beagles" that Goober talks about.

Now that was a party

My wife & I went to Lawrence, Kansas today to do some early Christmas
shopping - and right downtown, there is a Weaver's Department Store. Of
course, I went in! No mannequins that look like Barney . and when the
man at the counter said if I had "any questions, just ask" my wife
wouldn't let me embarrass her - all I wanted to ask was: "Is Ben
working today?"

So, there is a Weaver's . but, I'll never know if there is a Ben!

My son is in the military serving overseas and before he left he asked me to
sell his car for him. I put the ad in the paper today and my husband and I had
quite a laugh because I wanted to write that it was driven only to church on
Sundays and once a year to Aunt Martha's for Thanksgiving. My husband said I
should say to call our number and ask for Mrs. Lesch. And he isn't even a fan!
Also, dear hubby is looking for Season One for my Christmas gift. He is
computer illiterate so has to rely on retail stores. Walmart didn't seem to
know anything about the big release date. Does anyone know what retail stores
are carrying it? I do have a Weaver's business card (from a previous order)
and could kinda sorta hint around for him to call the man.
This holiday season, please remember our boys and girls serving our country.
Neither one of our military children will be home this year. I was looking at
Christmas cds and had to stop because titles like I'll Be Home For Christmas
and Home For The Holidays made me start sobbing right there in the store.

Kind behind the eyes.

Well, Joshua, I finally took the quiz, and I'm her. Darlene!

I actually met her this summer in Nashville TN, and what a
delightful lady she is. She thought she knew me and even ask
me if we had met before. Sadly I said no, but told her I was
most flattered she thought we had... After taking the test, I'm
now thinking maybe she knew something after all!
