After looking in the episode "The Guitar Player" for the Sid Elson on the
window,
I noticed something else. Jim Lindsy's guitar has the name of the
manufacturer
taped over on the headstock so you can't read it.
I also remember that the Produce truck that was peddling without a license
on the edge of town
had something taped out on the door of the truck. That was the episode with
our favorite bad guy
Allan Melvin making an appearance as one of the peddlers.

Don't know if this has been posted before, but have you noticed that in the
"Bringing Up Opie" episode, Andy's hair is parted on the right in one scene and
on the left in all the others. When Andy is explaining to Opie why he isn't to
drop by the jail anymore, his close-ups show a part on the right. In all the
other scenes, the part is on the left.
Wonder what causes that?

This speech from Andy is in the first season from the episode Andy the
Matchmaker and he clearly says
Tooth Dentist not doctor.

i don't have the new first season dvd's yet but i think santa may bring them
this year.
Since everyone is so impressed with the clarity it sounds great, can't wait.
Are they all made in mexico?
Also is there any clear shots of wallys service station where a person can read
what the signs all say posted on the building front.

Good ole Barn might get Santa for trespassing for sneaking into people's
houses and for landing on people's roof. Don't forget, at Halloween he "ran
in"
some teenage boys for knocking on people's doors.......Seems that Santa's
"modus operandi" is even more intrusive than that.....

I went shopping this past weekend and I did not see a single TAGS first
season DVD. I'm guessing the stores are all sold out. I'm not worried,
though, since I got mine from good, old Weavers.
I also receive a lot of magazines in the mail from several companies which
sell movie tapes and/or DVD's. One of them is Critic's Choice which mails
me a magazine once a month. I received one on Saturday and the number of
DVD's of TV shows has grown tremendously -- but not of TAGS. My guess is
that the retail business gets first dibs on this first season of such a
popular show.

I just saw a commercial for "Liars and Legends' airing tonight at 10:30pm on
Turner South that was taped during "Dukesfest" in Bristol, VA earlier in the
year. Our own Mayberry Deputy, David Browning, was featured on the
commercial. Make plans to watch!!

Any chance Professor Brower is bringing out another volume of his smart
analysis of TAGS' episodes anytime soon?
I'd be first in line to pick one up.
Thanks.

Hah, I saw that one too. I think Andy had enough oregano in those three
dinners in episode 206 to last him a lifetime, hah
Something tells me that his splurge at the market when Aunt Bee was gone
wasn't good for him either. Remember he bought wild mushrooms, canned
oysters, chili sauce, pickled avacados chocolate syrup and shrimp
enchiladas. Foley's must have been some market.
