Was good old Frank Meyers by any chance played by an actor named Ken Clyde? I
was listening to NPR Old Time Radio and one of the voices in a play sounded
just like Frank Meyers and he was played by a man named Ken Clyde.

>more

It would be nice but I wouildn't count on it......The Waltons first season
DVD is priced at $34.99. I seriously expect TAGS to be priced at or around
that figure, if not higher.

I see TV Land is going to rate TV Dads.....if our beloved Andy Taylor is
chosen what episode(s) would you expect would cause such a rating. In my
opinion (a man [women?] is entitled to his opnion) it's a toss up between
Opie the Birdman and Mr. McBeevee. Both episodes portray Andy as a father at
his best.

Harriet....anyone want to be a father figure to my chickens????

Last evening after watching news coverage on the death of President Reagan, I
went to church. The church is looking for a new pastor, and I guess the
interim pastor could not attend, so they showed a video sermon from an
evangelist who has since passed away. On the way home, I couldn't help humming
to myself "There is a time". How true that song is.

I also knew a lady who died about 3 years ago. She had the TAGS theme played
at her funeral when they took her casket out of the church. She left
everyone with a smile on their face.

Regarding the plaster cast.

You told a few folks, right? But you didn't want to run around making a
big moulage.

Thanks for your message. I used to live an hour north of Nashville and
remember when the storms hit downtown. Another question ::::: Anyone ever
thought of doing a Mayberry singles board? Or is there one? Somehow I
think that TAGS fans share the same kind of heart, and that there are single
folks out there just like me who would like to communicate....I've met some
on here and enjoy communication.....takes away the lonelies........ Just
pen me Lonely in Lexington, :-) (tongue in cheek) Just an idea.

Have a great Mayberry kind of Day!!

Subject: Mayberry event in Nashville
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I am attending the Nashville event as we had made reservations prior to
my beloved's passing. The confirmation I received stated that ticket
packages would be mailed 3 weeks prior to the event. When I called them
yesterday the clerk said they weren't being mailed out after all and she
didn't even have the correct dates. I sure hope there aren't going to be
any snafus when we get there. I hate to be negative but I'm losing
confidence at this point.
