My DEAR beloved citizens of Mayberry.....it has come to my attention that a Mr.
Earnest T. Bass has been spreading vicious lies and rumors to get Mr. Pike back
in office. I want to inform each of you that Mr. Bass is not even a citizen of
our FAIR little town. This is just another example of how "some" people will
try to get votes from our BELOVED people in Mayberry.
And let me squash the rumor once and for all that the overpass that was
constructed to go by a certain gas station was actually started during the PIKE
administration!!!!!!!!
As for the hunt for Mr. Schwump, I say that if the people of Mayberry want to
find out the identity of this man, then the people of Mayberry SHALL find out
the identity of this man.
Hope to see you all at the RE-ELECT STONER dinner this Saturday night at
Meyer's Lake. I assure you that the $100 fee to eat and visit with me is PURELY
to cover all expenses.
I am going to listen to our band audition this afternoon to see if they are
ready to play at the dinner.
