The NATN (National Association of Trained Noticers) has announced that this
year's certification exam will be held Saturday, April 19 at the town hall.
It will start at 1pm provided John Masters is through with rehearsals by
then.

Those interested in the 3-hour written exam can get an application from the
County Clerk. Howard will also take your $12 exam fee. Bring the completed
form to the exam with you. (Please notice that the application requires
endorsement by 2 existing CTNs (Certified Trained Noticers)).

As one of the most coveted and difficult certifications to obtain, it should
be noted there are currently only 193 CTNs in the entire country. Last
year, only 2 of the 19 who took the test passed. Since 15 of those will be
retested this year, we are hoping for a good jump in the membership.

No notes, books or any other helps are allowed at the exam site. You'll
remember last year's scandal when one candidate was found to have a cell
phone collection with Paul Mulik. (I guess Allan is going to have to add
another rule, Paul - No cheatin' on the certification exam!)
