--Also, I love Floyd in that episode. When Andy says something like,
'weall --believe you, don't we?' and Floyd pulls up his pants and say
"OH SURE"! ---That's been a classic line around our house for years!!!
I've thought about Floyd in this episode before myself. What I remember
though was when he was trying to do some quick arithmetic calculating
everyone's share and started his incoherent babbling...another of my
favorite Floyd moments was when Otis took his business to the Mt Pilot
jail and Andy/Barney were interviewing Floyd for leads("Boy, you fall
down a well...you're WET")I think I read somewhere that they had a
really hard time doing this scene because everyone kept laughing at
Floyd. If you watch it again, Andy has this smirk on his face the whole
time as if he's about to bust out at any moment. Thirdly, my other
favorite Floyd scene was 'Guest of Honor' where Barney is speeching to
the three new deputies "First sign of trouble, we've got to nip it! You
got that? Let's hear it!" And then Floyd yells while his cap is pulled
down over his eyes 'NIP IT.BUD!!!' Again, Andy looks as though he can
barely control himself.
