Ken, I agree, this is a great Topic There were a few events that were held in Mayberry Buildings, that I'm not sure we know what they were. Perhaps you could generally assume Town Hall-but they were all somewhat different.
The Debate-between Howard and Aunt Bee The event that Barney brought forward his cases of Malfeasance Where the Choir performed (not the episode with Gomer-that was in the Church) Where the Pageant was performed on Mayberry Founders day (Aunt Bee tried to Play Lady Mayberry) Where the Beauty Pageant was held. Where the Bogus FBI guy spoke about Andy and Barney and Crime-Free Mayberry Where Art Club gathered that Warren Spoke and Otis came in drunk Where the Lecturer Spoke about South America Where Rafe Hollister Sang Where the guy sewed up Andy's Suitcase (Shoe Repair???) before he went To Hollywood Was the Rose contest in a Building or a tent? Where the Bingo Bazaar was held before Warren arrested the Ladies I consider Mrs. Mendlebright's Boarding House a Place of Business even though you said no dwellings, Ken. The Morrison Sisters Flower shop/Greenhouse (wink wink) Harry Brubaker supplied a nice list---but many of those were outside of Mayberry-as perhaps a few of mine may be.
