I have heard a rumor that the G-Men are sending a gold shipment through Mayberry on their way to Washington. A gold shipment worth $700 billion. They are sneaking it through the sleepy little village of Mayberry in hopes it can reach Washington by the time the Federal Bailout comes to a final vote. This has to be kept top secret. So Barney will get into his plain clothes and he will deputize Gomer and they will be in charge of it until it reaches the county line.
