One big I forgot to add in my report about the days.....the National Guard vehicle was the last one in the line of march. As it approached us, I noticed silence, so my wife and I started applause for these American Heroes. As the vehicle slowly made its way down Main street, we followed alongside, making sure the applause followed. That is not the main story. The main story is, at the intersection of Main and Pine streets, there are Opie, Otis and Goober, all standing at attention and saluting the National Guard as they passed by! Made me feel really proud to be an American and to have such people as Tribute Artists! My congratulations to Jamie Sullivan, Kenneth Junkin and Tim Pettigrew for showing what patriotism is all about, and thanks for a swell weekend, guys!! Welford the camera nut...
