Hi Folks,
Well, it's been awhile sense I wrote into the digest and I recon I'm do to
interact with all of you but i'm wondering.........................
Last week-end was Helldorado Days in Tombstone, Arizona and I honestly
debated on weather to go down to it this year or not, due to the economics.
But late on Friday night I was informed about an article in The Arizona
Republic about Helldorado days and that my picture was in the article and that
it said that I
would be there. I found a copy of that days newspaper and found the article,
sure enough my picture was in it. It didn't actually say that I would be there
but
gave the impression that I would be there. My friends told me that i'd better
get down there but I had a singing telegram to do on Saturday evening. it sort
of haunted
me so right after the telegram I headed down to Tombstone arriving at about ten
p.m.
On Sunday afternoon a gentleman approached me, shook hands with me and
told me that he came all the way from Nashville, Tenn. just to meet me. But he
didn't
tell me who he was, so i'm wondering if he might be a member of the digest? I
would appreciate knowing who he is.
Perhaps, I should mention here that my two new books are now on the
market, I expect that they will in the near future be in book stores, they can
now be ordered
through any book store. 35 Years in a NutShell is my forty plus years story of
being a look-alike to our greatly loved Don Knotts and as well, is a biography.
The Round Up
is a colorful book with lots of pictures and short humorous stories. It also is
a top off to 35 years in a Nut Shell. To gain more information you might try
typing the
book titles into your brousers and see what comes up. You might also find them
on line; Amazon and Barns and Noble. My publisher is Xlibris so you can get the
info
from them as well.
