On the Lawrence Welk Show tonight, Ava Barber was interviewed and said she
had a special fan in North Carolina; turns out that when she was helping the
PBS station there in fund-raising, Andy called the station to tell her how
much he admired her voice. Ava got choked up and teary-eyed and said if she
never did anything else in her life, she had that supreme compliment. Isn't
that one of the nicest things you ever heard? When I switched over to
TVLand after that, I found we get TAGS till 1:00 this morning so I'm gonna'
have a lovely evening!!!
