Paul's question about the Remshaw house got me to thinking about the
various houses in Mayberry. I was basing my guess on interiors vs.
exteriors. After a quick Scan of some of the Real Estate on the books
with Fife Reality, I have the following the report.

I was also going to guess that Mrs. Wiley's house was the Remshaw house
based on the fact that I believe the fireplace and staircase (that Andy
leans on) are the same fireplace and perhaps same staircase as the
Remshaw place...but the exterior looks different due to the wrought
iron.

But, as luck would have it, two readers have guessed Mayor Stoner's
house and Mrs. Wiley's (based on exteriors) ...and I think we are all
right. It's all the same house!! (minus the wrought iron and vines
that is in front of Remshaw's). The tell-tell characteristic is the
exterior bricks. In all cases the brick wall can also be seen on the
left side of the porch. That's my theory anyway, with no offense to the
dearly departed...that was a busy house. Is Miss Pittypat related to
Mrs. Wiley, Brian R???

Am I right Paul? We never get to see the second story of Mrs. Wiley's.

What I also noticed though, is the similarity between Mrs.
Mendlebright's house (ground floor) the house that Melissa and her
Daddy lived in , and Helen Crump's house. The stairway just inside the
door is the same in all of them. Perhaps this is the same interior set
(or maybe just the same homebuilder--wink wink).

Trained Noticers, help me out here.
