I should have posted this the day before to get it in on the first, but I want to wish a happy 83rd birthday to Andy Griffith. Usually it's the birthday person who receives a gift, but in Andy's case, he is the one who has given the gift. You've heard the expression "the gift that keeps on giving"? Well, Andy gave us all that in the form of Sheriff Andy Taylor and the whole town of Mayberry with all its memorable citizens. We get to enjoy his gift to us every day!
