Im beginning to see now that the credit music changed a tad bit with the
advent of the announcer and the tempo increased. Regarding having seen just
now the full uncut version of Aunt Bee the Warden, thats Tom Jacobs, Danny
Thomas's brother offering the ladder for poor Otis. And for the first time
in some years i heard the beautiful musicical piece that follow Otis all
the way down his ladder only to have a smiling Aunt Bee waiting for him.
note the twisted smile of absolute delight on Frances Bavier before she
delivers her famous line "Get to It." Its obvious she knew when filming this
scene that it was written to use her line to its fullest effect. She can
barely wait to say those words Get to It if you look quickly so she times
her cue just right to say it. Another great scene well thought out and
played out. Thanks . Tom Kessel Col.Tim's protege reject
