my good friend Marsha just shared her thoughts on my short message regarding the Aunt Bee character actually hurting a kitty in High Noon when in reality Frances Bavier as we all know ADORED CATS> It stands to reason tho we cant prove it but its quite possible, the writers knowing her love for cats, tried for some fun for her character to drop a vase. What im writing here is good conversation in good fun with no harm intended but it makes interesting reading. Its like Art Linkletter known for 60 years for his House Party series where he interviews children, being shown slapping a kid in the face . Frances told me she was victim of the younger generation not respecting her during her years on the show. from what little she told me, its obvious it didnt take much to upset her. id bet my respect for Col. Tim in saying she probably resented the idea of her character dropping a vase on a kitty but reluctantly followed suit. according to the script. No big deal here just innocent fun trying to get into the person and the character of TAGS . Thanks Marsha and God bless you all.
