Curt i misunderstood you when you ask us about Barneys line Fred. You were actually referring to the comeback answer coming from possibly Howard McNear. i listoned to it late last night and yes it does to a degree sound like our beloved Howard McNear but its still a slight lower tambor in the voice. ant why would Howard be called in to recite one line is a bit strange. but i see your point. regardless the wonderful actors in If i Had a Million went out on the limb raising their voices to new levels to get that laugh. i cant recall so many actors i one episode using their vocal cords to such a hilarious degree with such resounding effects. Just another reason TAGS is the very best in entertainment. Classic Images by the way were the ones who told me Richard Jury passed away. We can all mourn another Mayberry actor. Bless both Pat Hingle and now Richard Jury . fate played a hand in their deaths coming so close. Last i noticed in a number of episodes an old trick but the reason mystifies me. In Family Visit, we see Andy outside the court on the Mayberry lot with Floyd sitting at the bench then in a closeup its the standard studio set closeup.
