received an email the other day from someone who saw my picture of me dressed in my Barney uniform. They made the comment about my imitation of Barney. Well folks I want to issue a disclaimer here. There is no way that I would ever attempt to imitate good old Barney. I leave that up to the pros. We have Allan who does a great Floyd, David who is by no stretch of the imagination the best Barney impersonator there will ever be, Jeff Branch who is a terrific Howard Sprague, and now I heard on Alan's latest PodCast Gary Crain who does an amazing Gomer Pyle. I don my uniform only to ad a bit of interest to my Mayberry talks and I wouldn't even think about trying to pretend to be anything like Barney. My only regret is that I haven't had the opportunity of seeing in person Allan, David, Jeff, or Gary, but who knows, someday I might.
