I first asked the question about matching names between the actor and the character in Digest 249 on Aug 27, and Keith has supplied to most answers so far. Fred Goss is a good pickup!!! The Burt reference is a reminder of a good story. This was "T he Lodge" episode. (ironic that ya'll are talking about blackballing and such). When Andy was walking by greeting folks, he accidently called Burt Mustin by his real name, rather than his character name (such as Jud). They decided to just leave the error in.
