Our city recently bought an old building. We went looking around in it, and it had a basement. Nobody wanted to go down in the basement because it was old and dark, etc.... Then we thought about whether any homeless people might be sleeping down there, or were just trying to stay warm. (The building had been vacant for some time and the basement had an outside door that was not locked)
Anyway, since nobody wanted to go down into the basement, I opened the door and yelled "any old tramps down there?" After getting no answer, we left....... I had a grin on my face, but nobody else got it.........
