I think the episode Prisoner of Love only had seven characters if I remember
correctly. Andy, Barney, Aunt Bee, Otis, the prisoner, and the two guards
who brought her in. And the entire episode was in the courthouse except for
a short scene on the porch when Andy went home.
Our pastor this morning told about how she worked in a shelter in Washington
DC for abused women. She told how another worker there and former victim
named Sally decided to put together boxes of nice perfumes, hand creams, and
other special female doodads ( my words, not hers) and they were given to
the women when they came to the shelter. She believed it would help the
women regain their self esteem because all people need nice things to help
them feel better about themselves. I immediately thought about Ellie's box
that she took to Frankie Flint.
