I think what Andy meant was that he seemed to be gaining Ron Bailey's trust 
ntil that moment.  Even though Andy's comment was innocent, the Bailey boy's 
ynical outlook interpreted the remark as a calculated ploy to win him over, so 
e became even more antagonistic and resentful than before.  Therefore, Ron "got 
way" from Andy in that moment.


It's amazing - that's exactly the same thing I was thinking........  (You just
