I was watching TCM this afternoon, a movie called "A Place In The Sun",
starring Montgomery Clift and Elizabeth Taylor when I spotted an Andy alumni in
the movie. Montgomery and Elizabeth are picnicing at a lake when a bird makes
a noise. Montgomery asks Elizabeth "What was that"? She tells him, "that was
only a loon". I yelled at the TV screen, "it was a lake loon". I wonder if
they got Andy or Gomer or someone else to do the call?
Orville Hendricks - Still selling butter and eggs after all these years. The
only birds around our place are a few Robins and one pesky woodpecker.
