has not come forward. That is the same problem I have had for years. I just
know that somewhere in California there must be someone who knows the true name
of Mr. Schwamp. Maybe his child, grandchild, great nephew, someone. There
must be someone with a personal photo of Mr. Schwamp in their family album. It
has even entered my mind to do a full page ad in the LA Times and offer a
reward for his name. I have always wondered why no one has come forward to
say, "Hey, this famous Andy Griffith star is kin to me". Maybe someday they
will, I will keep a good thought.
