We all know Mayberry to be a quaint,charming Southern town.We know the
residents have eaten chicken,apple pie
and other Southern fare.Has anyone ever seen the most Southern staple of
all,watermelon, being consumed?We know
they also churn ice cream.
I just finished eating watermelon and this got me to wondering about it.My mind
is like a camera,one brilliant flash,
and the thought is gone,so I had to jot my thought down quickly.
By the way,I put salt on my watermelon.My wife thinks it distorts the taste.I
think it rather enhances the taste.
Anyone else use salt?
