Without even mentioning Mayberry, I think you definitely shared the spirit of 
Mayberry in your speech.  I love it!  It made me think of the small town I grew 
up in (where I still live today) and I think you should keep it exactly as it 
is - don't change a word!!  Hope you have a great reunion!! : )
