To answer David, the tribute artists do a great job, and Tim that portrays Goober does so with the FULL support of George Lindsey. George supports Tim's efforts. He has even given Tim some lessons on Goober's mannerisms and has given him suggestions to help improve his performance. Tim is nothing new, has been doing his character at numerous Mayberry events and the fact that George is still alive (THANK GOD) has nothing at all to do with it. He and George are very much friends. Have met tim at a few events that was also attended by George Lindsey, and believe me, there is no problem nor dis-respect.
