Several times the inside of the All Souls Church was shown on Andy. And a few
times the preacher was shown delivering a sermon. But mostly it was just
generic platitudes, such as "Slow down, what's your hurry". I do not recall
any preacher mentioning the name of an actual bibical person.
However there were bibical characters mentioned on Andy. In the episode where
Ollie and Nora come to visit, Opie tells Johnny Paul that the Sunday School
lesson that week is about Cain and Abel.
There was another person on Andy who mentioned an actual person from the Bible.
This person mentioned the name of an Old Testament character in front of a
large crowd. Which person on Andy mentioned this character, and what was the
name of the bibical character he mentioned?
I will give you a hint. The bibical character he mentioned appears in the book
of Esther.
