Hey, Mayberry friends. Ken's post yesterday got me to thinking (I need to get a
new bucket, my old one's rusty.) I remember penny candy very well. I'd give the
store owner a nickel or dime and tell him to "mix it up."

I'm making Mayberry memories almost every week. I have grandchildren ages 10
and 6 yrs. and another 9 months (he's not quite ready yet.) Our favorite game
in the car is Mayberry trivia. We take turns asking questions and they stump me
sometimes. Our trip to Mayberry Days in Mt. Airy, NC is becoming a tradition.
We begin counting down the days months in advance. I'm hoping the Mayberry
values they learn now will stay with them when I'm long gone. I love this stuff!

"It isn't only the materialistic things that make a person rich. There's love
and friendship. That can make a person rich, too.".... Barney Fife.

Thanks to everyone that posted their "Cruise to Mayberry" pics. They were great.
